Introducing Iconic Built, formerly known as Modern Restoration. After years spent restoring world-class vehicles, the company has been rebranded. With a new name, and a brand new state-of-the-art facility, they have emerged with renewed vigor and an unwavering commitment to quality. Their focus of merging timeless aesthetics with modern engineering starts with multiple classic 1969 to 1972 Chevy Blazer builds.
With roots deeply embedded in a passion for building and restoring classic trucks, Iconic Built’s backbone is their elite team of dedicated craftsmen and mechanics. With a strong foundation as Modern Restoration, the team continues to build upon their years of experience to embark on this new era of focus on classic truck restomods. These new Iconic Built trucks are built to showroom quality, but intended to be driven and enjoyed.
“Find Your Time,” is not the first Blazer from Iconic Built, but the first to make its debut at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. It’s a two-tone 1972 K5 Chevy Blazer with a tomahawk brown interior and multiple other amenities. The unveiling marks a significant milestone for the brand and demonstrates their commitment to reinventing classic Chevy Blazers.
Find Your Time’s exterior showcases a distinctive two-tone Earl Grey and Arctic White finish, stainless lower trim, JW Speaker LED headlights, and Nitto tires mounted on 17” KMC wheels. Inside, the interior features custom Tomahawk Brown Distressed leather seats, Dakota Digital gauges, custom-built door panels, custom center console, custom roll bar and more.
Under the hood, the GM Crate Gen 5 LT1 6.2L V8 engine delivers 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 4l85 automatic transmission for a powerful and responsive driving experience. The entire chassis has been rebuilt and rethought with their reinforced performance frame upgrade, Fox reservoir shocks, Wilwood brakes, Dana 44 front axle, and 4” lift kit with soft ride leaf springs ensure both performance and reliability.
To modernize the driving and ownership experience, Find Your Time includes multiple modern amenities, including: Fusion audio system and subwoofer, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, completely hidden retractable AMP Research power steps, push button tailgate, push button start with keyless Remote, turn indicator mirrors, power windows and locks on billet switches, a Vintage Air A/C system, and much more.
Iconic Built’s pride lies in meticulous quality and craftsmanship, utilizing only the finest components to create driving and ownership experiences like no other. Future builds already in progress will include Roadster Shop chassis and Chevrolet LT4 engines in addition to the Dakota Digital Gauges, Vintage Air Systems, and TMI interiors found on Find Your Time.
